The third release from Hello Cosmos is a slick and euphoric dance EP featuring lead track Keep on Rising plus four experimental and eclectic remixes from Kenyan and Cumbrian producers.

Keep on Rising rolls with post electronica prowess, fusing reggae, indie, house and ska influences.

Recorded over two days in a backstreet studio in Nairobi, after band leader Boone hooked up with some collaborators while visiting Kilifi New Years festival, it’s brimming with African influences and a clash of unique styles plus guest vocals from Chief & the Marshalls main man, Maja Rašić & DJ Lasta. East Africa Wave artists Jinku’s remix showcases why he’s been compared to Caribou and heavily backed by Mixmag and other international press.

The club mix’s from Lost Colours is a surefire summer anthem and The Olchemist features with two remixes showing the breadth of his experimental skills. Keep on Rising is a fine cut of progressive electronic music and plays out more like a journey than a collection of remixes. As a follow up to Raise the Dawn & Dream Harder releases it’s a sign that there is alot more unexpected moments in the pipeline from Hello Cosmos.
